Today was Whitney’s awards assembly at school, and it covered the first half of the school year. WhitneysAwardShowShe got several awards, including an Accelerated Reading award and the “Superstar” award. She was pretty excited about it. We are also pretty happy for her. She loves school.

Whenever I come home at night from school, if Mason is still awake he sees me first because I have to walk by his bedroom door first. Every time, he stops me and tells me to wait. Then he runs into our bedroom and tells Heidi, “Mommy, someone to see you…” and then he gets me out in the hall and leads me into the room and says, “Surprise!” If she sees me first he then tells her, “Mommy, forget that you just saw Dadu,” and does his routine anyway.
