A couple weeks ago we took a trip to Great Falls Park, which is actually part of the George Washington Memorial Parkway. I was surprised there was such a neat place so close to Washington, DC. There is a river than runs through some rocky ravines and a few nice trails to walk on.

The kids had a good time just running around and climbing rocks. We climbed up the side of this cliff and then just walked along some old paths. I’ll post some pictures later, but for now here is a video of the kids doing some rock climbing.
