raccoon We have a bunch of raccoon (or one busy one) who inhabit the woods behind our house. Lately, one has been getting into the garbage every night. It makes quite a mess. The kids think it is neat, and sometimes leave food out for it, which of course doesn’t help things much.

One night I heard it outside and cornered it under the deck, and so we all could see it peeking it head out and looking at us from across the driveway, waiting for us to go inside so it could split. Another night I sneaked around front and took a picture of it and caught it red-handed stealing our garbage. Mason made me use the picture for his wall paper on the computer, he thinks it is so cute.
