Here are some more pictures from the swim meets the kids have been in. They’ve been doing pretty good, but Whitney is now swimming the backstroke, which is hard. And Mason did well enough that he moved into the faster heat, which is tougher. But all in all they are liking it.

While eveyone was out here for Whitney’s baptism, we took a trip to Chesapeake Beach. It is a pretty fun little beach, and the kids loved it. The water is really shallow, meaning the kids could walk out about 50 yards before it even got to their necks.
They played in the water, played in the sand and got ice cream treats. Then, near the end of the day a band started playing on the boardwalk, so we stayed and listened to them. It was (more…)
