kingsdominionWe told the kids that we would take them to Kings Domion sometime this summer and finally got a chance a couple weeks ago. I took a Friday off of work and we went down there. The nice thing is that it is only about 45 miles away from here, so we didn’t have to get up super early in the morning and we could stay till it closed.

The kids had a great time. Whitney loves the rides and is pretty brave. She went on all the rides she was tall enough to go on, even some of the big and scary roller coasters and water slides. Mason wasn’t tall enough to go on the same ones Whitney did, but he was able to go on the Scooby Doo “ghoster coaster” about a million times and he had a good time too.

Mason now wants to build a Kings Dominion in our back yard. I told him I just wanted to build a zip line. We’ll see how that goes.
