So I finally graduated from law school. Herb and Linda drove out, and Allan and Nancy came as well. So we had a few big parties and a lot of fun. It was unfortunately a very busy time a work though, since we were supposed to be doing a lot of Energy Bill stuff, so I didn’t get to spend as much time with everyone as I would have liked, but it was fun nonetheless.

Our graduation ceremony was fine, although it was nothing to write home about. I guess I did write to the Internet about it though. Afterward we went to Famous Dave’s, which was very good. We also had a pretty good sized party the night before, and a lot of people came to it. All in all it is a pretty good feeling to be done with school, after four years. Pictures after the break. Heidi took this video one day when me and Mason and her went to Walmart. Me and Mason both were kind of dressed alike and we both were drinking pop. It is one of his favorite things to drink, more than water or chocolate milk.

As we were just sitting there drinking Heidi looked at us and saw the familial resemblance to took this video.

A few days ago we went boating with Joe. The kids have been excited to do that since they found out he had a boat. We wanted to go fishing, so took along all our supplies but didn’t end up catching anything. We saw a few fish, but nothing that wanted to eat what we were fishing with.

But it was pretty fun to drive around the Harbour and see the houses from the back side. The kids ended up getting in the river and swimming around, about where our river merges with the Potomac.

cow-skulls-38There was a game we used to play at our grandparents house in Springfield called Head of the Human. There was a huge network of irrigation ditches that went through trees and bushes so thick that you could really only get through the bushes by walking in the ditches when there was no water in them.

Head of the Human was played by walking down those irrigation ditches very slowly and carefully, until someone spied the dreaded object (which was actually a cow skull) and they yelled (more…)
