When Herb and Linda were here we went to Gettysburg. We had a pretty good time. The weather was pretty nice and it wasn’t too hot. We went up the night before, which was probably the most exciting part for the kids since it meant they got to stay the night in a hotel. The ride up wasn’t too bad for a holiday weekend but it did take a while. We didn’t have a DVD player so I had to describe movies from memory for the kids to keep them entertained. Whitney didn’t like that very much cause I don’t know the Harry Potter movies well enough and was confusing them with Lord of the Rings, which made Whitney mad.

We went all around Gettysburg and saw a lot of neat things. We ate at Kentucky Fried Chicken, which sometimes I like and sometimes I don’t. The kids at least liked it this time. There are quite a few pictures after the break.
