We went to Kings Dominion on Wednesday for a little vacation. I spent the first half of the day with Whitney and the second half mostly with Mason. I would tease him when we went on the roller coasters by saying “We’re going to die!” right before the roller coasters would drop off on the downhill side. One time, on the way up, as the roller coaster was slowly getting dragged up to the top I said, “We’re going to die!” and then, “I’m too young to die!”
Then Mason said, “No you’re not. Your like 35.”
Heidi and the kids went to North Carolina with one of her friends and her daughter. They were gone for about a week, and just spent the days at the beach at the outer banks and found little places to camp at night.
The nights were pretty hot, and bug infested, but they had a lot of fun during the day. Whitney just played all day in the waves and Mason had a lot of fun as well. They went to Kitty Hawk, and it was Shark Week at an aquarium so they went there and got to pet rays. They also saw a few lighthouses along the coast.
