I made a couple changes that you might be interested in. My website host offers a photo album thing, and I decided to use it because it is more secure and easier to use that managing photos myself. I’ll still put some up like the pictures of Mason’s nose, but for the time being click the link on the left for “Photo Album”. Of course then you will see the album is password protected…so you’ll have to email me for the password. Right now the featured pictures are our Christmas celebration.

Nothing got broken or lacerated this week, so that counts as a success in my book. Mason’s nose is healing pretty well, I don’t think he is going to have a scar.

But it did put a damper on Mason’s favorite activity, which is playing in the bathtub or shower. He had to go four days without getting his nose wet, which meant he had to either nor bathe at or or just quickly get washed up.

The bathroom is almost all put back together. The tile is grouted and the sink is almost in, and the toilet is ready to be put back in. Hopefully I’ll have some “after” photos to put up shortly. I have the “before” ones but they aren’t worth looking at without something to compare them to.

Its been pretty nice here lately. We had a couple huge wind storms and rain storms, but it hasn’t been very cold. It has been a pretty mild winter since just before Christmas.

Other that that it has been a pretty quiet week. Work has been going pretty good, and so has school. We got an extra week in recess because the Democrats wanted to delay the Alito vote, so that was fine by me.

I did go to lunch with an old friend from High school. I guess he isn’t “old” but we did have a good time. Steve Stroschein is his name. He is also living out here near Washington DC. We had a good time catching up and shooting the breeze, and of course talking about people back in Aberdeen.

We’ll see if anything exciting happens this week, I guess.
